Change has always been part of educational facilities—but the pace and complexity of that change continue to accelerate. New technologies, evolving sustainability expectations, aging infrastructure, workforce challenges and changing campus needs are reshaping how we plan, operate and lead our institutions.
Niagara Falls provides a powerful backdrop for that conversation. For generations, the constant movement of water has been harnessed and transformed into energy— demonstrating what is possible when powerful forces are directed with purpose.
That idea is at the heart of Channeling Rapid Change. ERAPPA 2027 is about looking at the changes happening around us and asking what we can do with them. Through learning, collaboration, new perspectives and shared experiences, we will explore how facilities professionals can turn emerging challenges and opportunities into meaningful action for our campuses and our profession.
ERAPPA is the Eastern Region of APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities, connecting educational facilities professionals across Eastern Canada and the Eastern United States.
Dedicated to supporting the people who plan, operate, maintain and improve educational facilities, ERAPPA creates opportunities for professional development, knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration. Through its regional network and ten active chapters, members can connect with peers, exchange ideas and learn from the experiences of facilities professionals throughout the region.
ERAPPA works alongside APPA to support the continued growth of the educational facilities profession through education, professional development, credentialing and other resources. At its core is a community built around shared knowledge, peer support and continuous learning.Each year, the ERAPPA Annual Meeting brings that community together—providing facilities professionals and Business Partners with an opportunity to learn, build relationships, share ideas and explore the emerging trends shaping educational facilities.
